Being a thrift shopper is one thing that you and I may have in common. Other than that would be my best friend Stefanie.
We always look forward to our spending budget and make sure that we get what we want without breaking the bank. Knowing that she came from a middle class family, she knows that it is better for her to make certain conclusions in buying stuff that would meet her needs and not going beyond the line.
One day we went to her house for some macarons and tea. It was a rainy day actually so we opted to skip on cold drinks and warm up our palates for fresh brewed tea leaves.
It was a nice day. Plain and simple with every chit chat we could never imagine. We both had a great time dealing with our conversation pertaining on being thrifty yet practical. We came across the outfit, how a dollar store helps to match the accessories, shoes, glitter nail polish and even hair pomade.
We even thought about getting a cheap funeral in case our old cat, Becky dies. There are pet shops roaring around the town and when we inquired for the fees on a pet funeral vessel, it was outrageous. I don’t think that value is necessary for a deceased pet.
We googled up some answers and came up with unique ways on how we can provide a decent funeral to our lovely Becky. I think she had been terminally ill since summer this year, the vets say that her condition is getting worse and all we can do is care for her and pray.
The day has come. She finally left us but all is well, we are happy that she has finally rested to the final destination where she belongs. And so, we gathered branches, plywood and paint. Nailed the pieces and assembled the case that would match to Becky’s body length. The color is in pink with light mint green accent and touch of ivory white. It was personalized and we decided to have her buried under the tree house where we and my siblings play the most.
She will never be forgotten. A very sentimental part of our lives –to me and my family.
